Exams and Vaccines

Annual physical examinations are recommended for all patients.  Vaccination protocols will be based on the age and lifestyle of the pet.

Recommended Canine Vaccines:

• Rabies  (Required by law in N.Y.S.)
• Distemper/Parvovirus/Adenovirus Type 2/Parainfluenza
• Lyme  (The Capital District is an endemic area)

Optional Canine Vaccines:

• Bordetella
• Leptospirosis
• Canine Influenza

Recommended Feline Vaccines:

• Feline Respiratory  (Rhinotracheitis, Calici and Chlamydia Psittaci)
• Feline Distemper  (Panleukopenia)
• Rabies (Required by law in N.Y.S.)

Optional Feline Vaccines:

• Feline Leukemia - For all kittens & for cats who go outside
