Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services

 

Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to handle all your pet's health care needs.

Surgical Services: Orthopedic (cranial cruciate ligament and fracture repair), soft tissue (spay, neuter, tumor, exploratory and cancer), dental and laser surgeries are performed in accordance with American Animal Hospital Association guidelines.

 

Anesthesia: The highest quality anesthetics and advanced monitoring equipment provide an extra margin of safety. This is especially critical for older and high risk patients.

 

Radiology Services:  On-site digital X-rays aid in the diagnosis of many disorders.

 

Ultrasound Services:  Abdominal ultrasounds performed on-site usually include consultations with board certified specialists via telemedicine. 

 

Pain Management: "Cold" laser treatments are available for patients with chronic problems, such as arthritis, ear infections and lick granulomas . Cold laser also helps manage acute pain associated with trauma.  http://www.companiontherapylaser.com

We also offer several nutraceutical and pharmaceutical pain management options. 

 

Electrocardiography Services: ECG services are provided in-hospital, as well as consultations with board certified cardiologists via telemedicine, when necessary.

 

Laboratory: The in-house laboratory is equipped to provide serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. Commercial veterinary labs are utilized for specialized diagnostics and consultations.

 

Pharmacy: We stock a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, heartworm preventatives and flea & tick products.

 

Dentistry: Dental services include cleaning, polishing and sealing, as well as extractions and major oral surgical procedures.

 

Dietary Counseling: We offer guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including overweight pets and pets with medical conditions.  Prescription diets from Hills, Purina, Iams and Royal Canin are available.

 

Behavioral Counseling: Behavioral consultations can be scheduled to aid in correcting problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling, aggression, and separation anxiety.

 

Boarding: Pet boarding is available as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be admitted and picked up during regular business hours, Monday through Saturday.

 

Bathing: Both routine and therapeutic bathing services are available.

 

 Pet Cremation: We have an on-site crematory, and offer both private and group cremation
