Wellness Exams & Vaccines

Annual physical examinations are recommended for all patients. During the physical examination we discuss the lifestyle of your pet, any concerns you may have and any recommendations.  Regular wellness exams are the best protection you can give your pets.

Benefits of regular wellness exams:

  1. Preventative Care:  It’s much better for your pet and cost effective to find possible problems before symptoms occur.
  2. Opportunity to Ask Questions:  While we encourage our clients to call with questions that come up during the year, this is the time to ask for recommendations, diet choices, or any other concerns or other questions that you have. There are no wrong questions!
  3. Annual blood, fecal, urine screens and vaccines are all very important and are part of the wellness exam.

Visit this helpful website to learn about well-visits, what to expect, what to ask and what vets look for during examination.
